We are looking for a highly self-motivated individual that can move quickly & efficiently from one task to another, who has the ability to work independently and as part of a team while being confident in taking on highly detailed work.
Responsibilities:

- Working with project leads to create quality molds and castings for silicone and fiberglass characters/scenic elements.
- Ability to solve mold-making process challenges and innovate on strategies/methods.
- Assist in producing high-quality finished silicone skins and fiberglass parts.
- Assist in the surface integration of a variety of materials, often within the same character.
- Ability to stay focused and productive throughout the day.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Adapt to changing processes and priorities in a creative studio environment.
- Adhere to company set Quality Assurance Policies.
- Self-accountability of performance and for the cleanliness of the space you occupy.
- Innovation of new methods and techniques for material applications.
Requirements:
- 3 years experience in a related field with a portfolio to support.
- Working knowledge of RTV silicone and the molding and casting process.
- Professional references that speak to your craft, accountability, and efficiency.
- Strong ability to problem-solve in a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of fiberglass production, carpentry, and steel fabrication.
- Experience with both electric and pneumatic hand power tools.
- Dependable.
- Strong communication skills.
- Driver’s license required.
- High school diploma.
- This position is full-time; must have flexibility in your schedule to allow for extended hours as needed on a project-by-project basis.
Additional skills that would be beneficial:
- Experience with surface bodywork. (including prepping a surface for paint).
- Leadership mindset: Ability to lead a small- to the medium-sized team.
- Patching and seaming silicone.
- Painting silicone.
- Integrating costume elements to silicone.
- Production paint experience.
